After Brock recovered from his injury he was retired from the police force and donated to Search and Rescue work where he has excelled. Brock works cadavar on land and water, and also track and trail. Brock was never trained or used in bite work by the Police Department. Brock has a very mild and docile temperment. Maggie Mae is a spayed Search and Rescue German Shepherd. Maggie has her own story of how she began her career in Search and Rescue. Maggie was a family pet who was not going to be able to move with her family to their new home. Maggie's future was very uncertain when the phone call came asking if she could come live at Freedom Farms and K9. Maggie's first track was started by escaping from her kennel and following the scent of one of her new owners from the farm into the woods. On Maggie's eighth official track she was taking her national certification for track and trail. Maggie passed her test and was awarded her track and trail certification after only 7 trial tracks and 1 testing track. Maggie has a truly amazing natural spirit and drive for working track and trail.
